WHAT IS KYBELLA®?
Kybella® is a well-tolerated alternative to surgical procedures, such as liposuction. Additionally, it can be used to diminish excess fat and volume in several locations of the body. HOW DOES KYBELLA® WORK?

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM YOUR SESSION
A typical Kybella® treatment session generally lasts 15-30 minutes. Most of the time is used to take progress pictures and review after-care instructions. You will receive multiple small injections marked inside your treatment area, though the exact amount will depend on the amount of fat and where the treatment area is located. Although there may be some minor and temporary effects, this lasts for a short time and eventually dissipates. These include:

Kybella® is FDA-approved to treat small or larger submental fat deposits to contour the chin and jawline. It can be used off-label to treat fatty deposits around the elbow, lower buttocks, back, inner knees and lower belly.
Patients should expect visible improvements after their first treatment, with full results ready within about 6-8 months. Kybella® permanently destroys fat cells, which do not grow back.

Most of our patients dress in their workout clothing for comfort. We suggest wearing comfortable clothing and will provide robes or disposable clothing if requested. The best candidate is an adult 18 years or older in good general health with moderate to severe fat beneath the chin. Before any treatment, our SKIN FIVE providers perform a full body assessment to learn about your concerns and design a treatment plan that aligns with your goals.
