WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM YOUR SESSION
CoolSculpting® sessions last 30-60 minutes, which depends entirely on the treatment area’s size. Patients may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping for the first 5-10 minutes the treated area becomes numb. These sensations typically subside. Patients report that these sensations are mild.
Typical side effects include temporary redness, swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity. Some patients may experience a sensation of fullness in the back of the throat after treatment of the submental or submandibular areas.

To receive maximum results, we have organized your treatment into 1 session that is approximately 30 minutes. The number of sessions are based on the amount of fat and your treatment goals.

Wear comfortable clothing. We do ask that you arrive to your appointment without any recent sun exposure ie: no-sunburns before treatment (or at any time our providers remind us!) We typically advise our patients to forgo any reparative treatments at-home such as retinols or alpha hydroxy acids at least 3 days prior to treated areas. On any special oral or topical medications? Just let us know when you schedule your appointment and we will let you know how to prep.
